12th July:
Is your writing rubbish? Let The
Literary Consultancy tell you 'the truth'
This year at Port Eliot, the UK's leading manuscript assessment service
TLC offer you the chance to have your writing critiqued by a market-informed
professional writer who has many years' experience.
Drop off up to 5,000 words of fiction or non-fiction (adults or children’s)
in the aluminium bins at our stall by 12pm on Saturday. Come back
later for a one-on-one fifteen-minute critiquing session where you’ll
receive engaged, constructive advice about your writing. Whether you’re
the next big thing, confused about what publishers are looking
for, or simply suffering from writer’s block - TLC are here
to help.
Cut off point for entries will be mid-day on Saturday so get your work
in quickly as we will be limited to a reasonable quota of reads depending
on length of ms. TLC may re-open the stall depending on levels of demand.
2nd July:
It is with much regret that the organisers of the fest have to announce that due to ill health Michael Foot is unable to perform at the festival. We all wish him well.
