Welcome
to a weekend of words, music, magic, dancing, film, food and fairytales,
in the most idyllic secret garden in England. Pitch your tent in hundreds
of acres of 18th century parkland in the grounds of an ancient stately
home. Eat seafood and drink champagne cider, get lost in the maze, dance
under the stars, fall in love, watch a film, be digitally dazed, hear
a story, eat fish soup, open your mind, lie on the grass. Read. Think.
Explore. Be inspired.
The
third Port Eliot Lit Fest will be held at Port Eliot, St.Germans, Saltash,
Cornwall on Come and be part of this summer's most happening literary happening. Watch Ralph Steadman don his Hunter S. Thompson outfit and summon the spirit of his old friend with readings from unpublished work. Share your weekend with Martin Parr, Louis de Bernieres, Gavin Turk, Ekow Eshun Michael Howells, Richard Benson, James Cauty Michael Eavis, Lily Fraser, Tom Baxter, Mick Brown, Toby Litt, Geoff Dyer, Louis Eliot, Huge Advance, Simon Munnery, Aisle 16, Francis Upritchard, Hari Kunzru and many more. Plus, for the first time this year dine in splendour by candlelight in Port Eliot house. Port
Eliot Lit Fest features a rich contempory mix of writers, poets, filmmakers,
digital artists, sculptors and musicians, this three-day event attracts
a wide range of visitors, who can enjoy the performances in 100+ acres
